Abigail Hampson joined the athletic training staff at St. Lawrence as a temporary hire in the fall of 2017 and was selected to fill a permanent position as an athletic trainer in the spring of 2018.

Hampson graduated with her Masters of Arts in Leadership from St. Lawrence University in May of 2023 and from Alfred University with a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training in 2017. During her time at Alfred, she worked for four years as a student athletic trainer, working with the Saxons' soccer, football, cross country, swimming and diving, wrestling, track and field, women’s lacrosse and softball.

She also served as an intern at St. Lawrence for two summers, assisting with summer sports camps, games and practices.

Hampson is NATABOC certified as well as Red Cross certified in First Aid/CPR.
