Isaac Beckstead was named Assistant Sports Information Director in August of 2021.

A Helena, New York native, Beckstead most recently served as a graduate assistant in the Clarkson University Sports Information office from 2017-2020.

Beckstead graduated from Clarkson in 2019 with his Master's of Business Administration and also received a certificate in Innovation and New Venture Management. Beckstead also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Sports Management from SUNY Canton. During his time as a student, he also worked as a student worker for both SUNY Potsdam and SUNY Canton's sports information directors.

During his time at Clarkson, Beckstead was a part of the staff that covered the 2019 Men's ECAC Championship team, two Patty Kazmaier winners (Loren Gabel '19, Elizabeth Giguere '20), and the 2018 Women's National Championship team. He was also tasked with being the statistician for the 2018 and 2019 men's ECAC Championships in Lake Placid.

Beckstead also interned with the sports information department at SUNY Potsdam and served as a marketing intern for Syracuse University creating marketing plans for women's and men's soccer, volleyball and field hockey. 

Beckstead is the sports information contact for soccer, men's hockey, squash, riding, tennis, and baseball.
