Adam Sebastian is a 2007 graduate of Post University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing. As a Waterbury native, he has been involved with soccer since the age of four and has 20 years of coaching experience throughout the Connecticut region.

Prior to joining Post University Women's Soccer, he served as the Head Coach of the Boys’ Varsity Soccer program at Canterbury School in New Milford, CT for the 2022 season.

In 2021, he was head coach alongside Maria Monteiro for the Ridgefield High School Girls’ Varsity Soccer Team. They finished with an 11-4-4 record in the FCIAC League. 

He spent the 2019-2020 seasons as an Assistant Coach for Oxford High School Girls Soccer, alongside Monteiro. 

Sebastian also helped lead the Ridgefield High School Tigers to their first CIAC Class LL State Championship title in 2017 as an Assistant Coach. 

Coach Adam has been involved with the ODP program for several years for national and regional selection. He has also coached at the Soccer Club of Ridgefield for eight years with the academy, travel, and premier programs, while simultaneously involved at the Ridgefield High School program.

As a player, he garnered CACC Freshman Player of the Week in 2003 with five goals and two assists for Post University. He played 4 years under Rick Bryant, Eric DaCosta (head coach at Quinnipiac) and current Men’s Coach Ted Haley.

Adam is an entrepreneur with several businesses in the real estate and automobile industry. He still competes and plays soccer as much as possible in various leagues throughout Connecticut. His coaching philosophy aligns with hard work and commitment in anything you do in life can achieve great successes while creating impactful life experiences that will influence positive results in soccer, as well as, in life.
