1st season as UNE Head Coach (2023)

3rd season as NCAA head coach

AJ Stueck was named as the fifth head coach of the UNE women's soccer program in May 2023. He comes to Biddeford following one season (2022) as assistant coach at Bates College [NCAA III].

Prior to Bates, Stueck spent three years (2019-21) leading the program Eastern University [NCAA III] to a 14-18-4 overall record. The team did not play in 2020.

He was on the staff at Wesleyan University (Conn.) [NCAA III] for three seasons (2016-18) while attaining a master's degree in liberal studies. Stueck was promoted from assistant coach to associate head coach during his time with the Cardinals, and the program saw a 4.5-game improvement in win-loss record.

Before one season (2015) with the Yale University men's program [NCAA I], Stueck got his start in 2014 with both the men's and women's teams at Illinois College [NCAA III].

The Connecticut native holds an NSCAA National Diploma and USSF D License.

Stueck graduated with a bachelor's degree in finance from Providence College in 2014. He played two seasons (2012-13) for the Friars [NCAA I], after two seasons (2010-11) with Northeastern University [NCAA I].
