Alan Goggs enters his ninth season on staff with the Northeastern women’s soccer team during 2024, having served on the staff since June 2016. Goggs was promoted to associate head coach in August of 2023. 

Upon his arrival, he brought eight years of professional coaching experience to the Huskies, including his most recent post as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Mount Ida College.

COACHING CAREER

Certified by both the English Football Association and United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA)

Served as goalkeepers coach at Mount Ida College (2014-16)

Head coach and marketing manager of SFC New England (2013)

Brookline High School junior varsity coach (2013-14)

Coach and business development manager for the Pro Soccer Academy (U.K.) (2012-13)

Head coach and marketing manager for Global Premier Soccer (2010-12)

Assistant coach with Soccer Elite FA (U.K.) (2010-11)

PLAYING CAREER

Played on the first team at the University of Portsmouth (U.K.)

Also played with Salem International, Tonka United Select, and the Swadelands Premier Team (U.K.)
