Ally Gaunt was a recent addition to the DU women's soccer coaching staff prior to the start of the 2023 season.

Gaunt was a former goalkeeper for Saginaw Valley State University, starting her collegiate career in 2019 and finished with the Cardinals in 2022. Between those four seasons, Gaunt saw the most action on the pitch during her freshman year, starting in five of the seven games she appeared in and tallying 20 saves. Between the 2020-21 spring season and 2021 campaign, she did not appear in any matches. Gaunt would appear in just one match during her senior year for a total of 10 minutes, although she made the start in that match.

Prior to signing with SVSU, Gaunt grew up in the Chesterfield area and prepped at Anchor Bay High School where she was a three-year starter for the women's soccer team. She was named All-District Team, All-Regional Team, Macomb All-County First Team, First Team All-State, and Honorable Mention All-State. Gaunt also received the Player of the Year Award as she broke the school record for career shutouts with 32 total.
