Amy Vaughan was promoted to the Nova Southeastern University Head Women's Soccer Coach in March of 2024. Following two seasons on the staff and serving as the interim Head Coach during the 2023 season. 

Vaughan became the interim head coach during the 2023 season, guiding the Sharks to a 10-3-1 regular season record and to the third seed of the Sunshine State Conference Tournament. In the postseason, Vaughan led the Sharks to a pair of victories in the NCAA Tournament, defeating No. 21 West Florida and No. 11 Embry-Riddle to advance to the NCAA South Region Championship. Under Vaughan, Nova Southeastern had five student-athletes garner all-conference recognition, as Luana Grabias (first-team), Emma Brown (first team), Sofia Suarez (second team), Tabea Schütt (second team), and Maja Henriksson (third team) were honored.  

Nova Southeastern was ranked as high as 16th in the NCAA Division II United Soccer Coaches' Poll, as the Sharks started the 2023 campaign with an 8-0-1 mark under Vaughan. NSU ended the season ranked 17th in NCAA Division II.  

Vaughan also served on staff for the Sharks during the 2022 season, helping Nova Southeastern reach the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2019 campaign.  

Vaughan brings nearly a decade of collegiate coaching experience. Amy began her career as a women's assistant coach at Keiser University (2015-17), before transitioning to the game day operations staff (2017-18). After her stint with Keiser, Vaughan was a volunteer assistant for Barry University (2019-21) and joined NSU before the 2022 campaign.  

During her playing career, Vaughan helped Northwood – now known as Keiser – to a 64-16-6 overall record, winning the Sun Conference tournament in 2014, and four consecutive NAIA National Tournaments. Vaughan was named The Sun Conference Newcomer of the Year in 2011 and was recognized to the TSC first team. Amy also was recognized as a NAIA All-American honorable mention. 

Vaughan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Sports Management from Northwood, a Master of Science from Palm Beach Atlantic, and a Master of Business Administration from Keiser.
