Chelsea Fessenden joined Nova Southeastern University Sports Medicine Team as an assistant athletic trainer in the summer of 2022. She works with the women’s soccer and softball.
Prior to NSU, Chelsea worked at Ottawa University Arizona in Surprise, Arizona, as a graduate assistant athletic trainer where she completed her Master’s in Business Administration. During her time there she worked with multiple sports including women’s and men’s soccer, softball, football and tennis.
Born and raised in Parker, Colorado Chelsea attended Colorado Mesa University to play soccer and earn her B.S in Athletic Training. After graduation she worked for a physical therapy clinic in the Denver area where she had to opportunity to work a few players on Colorado Avalanche.
Chelsea is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and is CPR/AED certified. In her free time, you might find her at the beach reading or exploring new places.
