Asheli Freed enters her first season as the head women's soccer coach at Mount Union. She's served the previous two seasons as the assistant coach at Mount Union.

Freed is a native of Enon Valley, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Davis and Elkins College in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Sports Management with a minor in Business along while being a four-year starter for the Senators.

Freed was a Graduate Assistant Coach at Glenville State College in the 2020-21 season and completed her Masters in Business.

During her career as a senator Freed was a captain and a four-year impact player. Helping her team win the 2016 Great Midwest Athletic Conference and compte in the NCAA tournament with All Freshman honors and being named to the CCA All Midwest region team as a freshman. Freed led the team the following 3 years in goals and assists.  During the 2018 season freed was awarded GMAC honarable mention. Her senior season the Senators switched conferences to the Mountain East Conference where Freed then was awarded honarable mention for the 2019 season.
