Brett Miller joined the Fighting Scots as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2022. Miller has experience coaching youth soccer since 2014 and currently coaches with the Washington High School girls team.

Miller has coached various age groups in travel soccer from U7 to U15 since 2014. Among his club teams are Legends U7-U9, PSC U10-11, PFCU U12-U14 and Dynamo 309 U14-U15.

A native of Peoria, Illinois, Miller graduated from Woodruff High School where he played soccer. He also played at Illinois Central College before graduating from Illinois State University with a degree in telecommunications management. 

Coach Miller lives in Washington with his wife Elizabeth, daughter Hannah, son Charlie and their pets, three golden retrievers, a bearded dragon and a snake. He enjoys endurance events like Ironman triathlons and ultra distance marathons. Coach Miller is the founder of a non-profit called Way of Warrior Leadership Academy Inc. where he works with female athletes in leaderships and culture development space.
