Brittany Nikolic was named head coach of the women's soccer team in June of 2015, becoming just the fourth head coach in the program's storied history.

In 2023, Parkside had a historic run to the GLIAC Championship match. They started the season strong, winning their first three non-conference games. They finished the year with an 8-8-4 record and a 3-7-4 record in GLIAC play, which was good enough for the sixth seed in the conference tournament. Then, they made history by beating the number three seed Michigan Tech 2-1 in the quarterfinals and the nationally ranked number two seed Grand Valley State Lakers 1-0 in the semifinals. But their run came to an end in the championship match, where they lost 1-0 to Northern Michigan. Alexis Baker was named All-GLIAC First Team and Abbey Canfield was named GLIAC Honorable Mention.

In 2022, the Rangers went 7-11-1 overall and 4-9-1 in GLIAC play. But they did have a big win against then-ranked number six Grand Valley State at Wood Road Field on October 21st. Alexis Baker earned All-GLIAC Second Team and Myah Strokosch was named GLIAC Honorable Mention.

In 2021, the Rangers went 3-14-2 overall and 1-9-1 in GLIAC play. But they started the season well, winning two of their first three games. They made it to the GLIAC quarterfinals but lost a close game to #1 Grand Valley State. Alexis Baker was named to the 2021 GLIAC Honorable Mention team.

In 2019, Parkside finished with a 7-11-1 record and went 2-6-1 in GLIAC play. But they made it to the GLIAC tournament for the second year in a row, and Nikolic helped Jazmin Castanon earn an All-GLIAC Honorable Mention for her 2019 campaign.

In 2018, the Rangers' first year in the GLIAC, Nikolic led them to a 6-10-2 overall record and a 4-5 GLIAC record. Parkside made it to the GLIAC tournament but lost to Saginaw Valley State in the quarterfinals. After the season, Chloe Couves was named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team.

After a 6-8-3 record in her first season in 2015, Nikolic led the Rangers to a 10-6-2 overall record and a 10-4-1 record in conference play in 2016. They made it to the GLVC Tournament that year.

Before Parkside, Nikolic was an assistant coach at Northwestern, UNLV, and Milwaukee from 2004-2008. She helped Milwaukee to a Horizon League regular season and tournament title in 2008 and UNLV to a Mountain West Conference Tournament crown in 2006 along with a regular season title for the Rebels in 2007.

Nikolic was a standout at Stanford as a player from 2000-03, guiding the Cardinal to four NCAA Tournament appearances including a Pac-10 Conference Championship and a trip to the NCAA Quarterfinals in 2002. She finished her decorated career as a two-time Honorable Mention All-Pac 10 Conference selection and a two-time All-Pac 10 Conference Academic Honors recipient before heading to the collegiate coaching ranks.

The Los Angeles, California, native comes to Parkside after a six-year stint as head coach at NCAA Division III Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she inherited a program that collected just 20 wins in the eight years before her arrival on campus. Nikolic has since rewritten the record book at the all women's college, guiding the Inferno to their best season in program history in 2013 while exiting as the program's all-time winningest coach.

Nikolic graduated from Stanford in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in American studies with a focus on politics, policy, and economics.
