Courtney Dougherty is in her 14th season on the Stockton coaching staff. Dougherty, who has a USSF C coaching license, was elevated to associate head coach in 2023. She has helped the Ospreys to 163 wins during her tenure, which began after concluding her playing career as a four-year starter for the Ospreys in 2009. 

Dougherty was a four-time NJAC all-conference selection who was voted NJAC Midfielder of the Year and NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic First Team in 2008. She started all 88 games in which she played and tallied 19 goals and 15 assists for 53 career points while sparking Stockton to four consecutive NCAA Tournament berths.  

Dougherty was inducted into the Stockton Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Stockton in 2010 and obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 and doctorate in Psychology in 2017, both from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
