Hoium was named the Director of Strength and Conditioning in May 2017.
Hoium brings a wealth of experience to the position with an extensive background in strength and conditioning. Before being named the full-time director, he has served as the Interim Director of Strength and Conditioning for the Wildcats.
Prior to joining Central Washington as a graduate assistant for football in 2014, Hoium was the assistant strength and conditioning coordinator for football at Olivet Nazarene University (Bourbonnais, Ill.).
While at Pacific Lutheran University, from 2012-2013, Hoium served as an intern where he helped develop and lead sport specific exercise sessions. He also served as a fitness orientation specialist while at PLU, helping students develop proper lifting technique.
Hoium received his Bachelor's of Arts in PE-Exercise Science from Pacific Lutheran University and earned his Master's Degree in Athletic Administration from Central Washington University. He has been an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2013.
