Pitt joined Oglethorpe in 2022 as an assistant women's soccer coach, marking a reunion with Head Coach Rob King.

Prior to Oglethorpe

Pitt most recently served as Norcross High School's boys' varsity soccer coach and swimming & diving coach. Pitt led the boys' soccer team to win the 2018 region title, the first title for the school in over a decade. For his leadership, Pitt was named the 2018 region coach of the year as well as Gwinnett County coach of the year.

Before Norcross, Pitt was the head women's soccer coach at Francis Marion University from 2012 to 2014, when the school was still in NCAA Division I.

From 2002 to 2012 Pitt was assistant head coach to King at Kennesaw State University, and aided in all the inner workings of the team. The duo led the Owls to five conference championship titles and a NCAA Division II national championship title.

From 1998 to 2002, Pitt was a teacher at Thompson High School in Alabaster, Alabama, and coached the varsity girls' soccer team for all four years.
