In 2023, the Pacers again broke multiple school records, including the most goals scored by a team in a season for the program, and made the USA South Conference Tournament quarterfinals for the second consecutive year. Emma Avery set new school records for both goals scored in a single season (15 goals) and the most points in a single season with 34 points (15 goals, 4 assists). Two players were named USA South All-Conference Team selections. For the second consecutive year, the Pacers had a player receive United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team recognition, as Avery was a Third Team All-Region honoree.
In 2022, the Pacers set new records for the program in nearly every statistical category, posting a 11-6 overall record and 5-4 in conference. This was the most wins in a single season in the history of the program. It was also the program’s best conference record and highest conference finish ever, culminating in a Top 4 finish and hosting a USA South Conference Tournament game for the first time in program history. Kyra Delaney tied the single-season individual school scoring record. Six players received USA South All-Conference honors, including two First Team Selections, the most in a single season for the team in program history. Delaney and Raine Greene were also named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region Third Team, becoming the first All-Region selections in program history.
Smith graduated from William Peace University with a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, and was a four-year member of the men’s soccer program. He was on the 2021 team that won the USA South East Division Regular Season Championship, the first title win in the history of the men’s soccer program and first title win in school history for any men's team.
A goalkeeper, Smith was a three time All-East Conference Selection and three time USA South All-Conference selection. He was named USA South Goalkeeper of the Year in 2021, and was a United Soccer Coaches All-Region Team honoree. He was also named the 2021 Pacer Male Athlete of the Year.
