Odumewu joined the Dolphins in the 2023 season and arrived with a great deal of coaching experience in the high school and collegiate ranks.  His introduction to coaching came at Middlesex High School where he served as Head Coach for one year from 2017 through 2018.  In 2018, he spent a short time as an assistant coach for men's soccer at the College of Saint Elizabeth before becoming Head Coach of the 2007NL and 2009 NL Girls Team at Cedar Stars Academy.  While at Cedar Stars, he was also an assistant coach for the U15-U19 GA Girls.  That same year, he also became an assistant coach for the Ramapo College Women's Soccer Team.  He departed Cedar Stars four years later in 2022 for another coaching role with STA Soccer Club.  The following year in 2023 he joined the Dolphins coaching staff alongside new Head Coach Alex Mendolia.
