The Westchester, NY native joined the Dolphins as an Assistant Coach in the summer of 2023 bringing with her extensive experience as both a player and coach.  Sophia played at the Division I level at the University of Connecticut for four years and spent another year playing at George Washington University.  She graduated from UConn with a bachelor's degree in Sport Management alongside a minor in Women and Gender studies.  During her time at George Washington University, she earned a  Masters in Management.  Following her collegiate career, she played for Lank FC Vilaverdense in Portugal.  Among her accreditations are a USSF Grassroots coaching license and she has also coached multiple girls sides at Brooklyn City FC.
