Kathy Prescott, a former All-Centennial Conference goalie at Haverford College, was named head women's soccer coach at Muhlenberg College in 2023.

Prescott played goalie at Haverford from 2013 to 2016, setting the program record for career goals-against average and helping the Fords to two berths in the CC playoffs and one NCAA Tournament bid. She was named to the All-CC second team in her senior season, when she finished second in the CC with a school-record goals-against average of 0.60.

Following her graduation from Haverford with an economics major, Prescott spent two years as an assistant coach at Bryn Mawr College while earning her master's in sports business with a concentration in sport analytics from Temple University.

"I know firsthand that the Centennial Conference fosters an incredibly unique and competitive experience for student-athletes," she said. "My experience in this conference both as a player and a coach has shaped my life and I hope to be able to contribute to that experience for future generations of student-athletes."

After leaving Bryn Mawr, Prescott spent one season as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania and two at Fordham University, working with the goalkeepers.

In 2022, Prescott served as an assistant coach at University of Wyoming, helping the Cowgirls win the Mountain West Conference regular-season title. She played a major role in Wyoming's three goalkeepers recording a combined GAA of 1.29 with 78 saves and 26 goals allowed. Cowgirl keepers logged three shutouts in 2022, two of which occurred in the postseason.

A native of Lenox, Massachusetts, Prescott also has been an active member of the Northeast youth soccer community, working with the area's top female youth players at New York Soccer Club, Lower Merion Soccer Club and FC Delco. In these club environments, she was responsible for all aspects of the teams, including player management, team scheduling and development of a team philosophy on and off the field.
