Keane Hamilton joined App State Athletics in August 2021 as the strength and conditioning coach for the soccer team.

Additionally, Hamilton has worked as a lecturer in the exercise science department since 2020, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in strength and conditioning and nutrition.

Prior to joining App State, Hamilton worked at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colo., where he served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for men’s and women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and volleyball. He also served as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer team.

A former student-athlete himself, Hamilton competed for Fort Lewis College from 2006-2011, highlighted by winning a DII National Championship in 2009.

In addition to earning his undergraduate degree from Fort Lewis in Exercise Science, Hamilton went on to earn a Master’s in Coaching and Exercise Science from University College Dublin, in Ireland.

Hamilton is NSCA, CSCS and USAW Level 1 certified in strength and conditioning.
