Kellis Johnson was hired as an assistant coach on the Dominican University women’s soccer team in the fall of 2017 and has since been promoted to Head Assistant Women's Soccer Coach. As the head assistant coach on the women’s soccer team, Johnson works specifically with the goalkeepers in addition to her duties as an assistant coach.

Johnson also sees time as an Assistant Women’s Varsity Coach and Goalkeeper Director with The Branson School, while also helping with College Academy ID Camps while working at Dominican. In addition to these roles, Johnson is also the Soccer Fours Facilitator in San Francisco, the high school goalkeeper coach for Marin FC along with coaching duties with the Mill Valley Soccer Coach.

On the pitch, Johnson was an NCAA Division I soccer player at the University of Colorado, Boulder, from 2006-2009. Graduating in 2012, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts Ceramics and a minor in technology, arts and media. She holds US National E and D Licenses, an NSCAA GK 1 certification and is in the midst of earning her US National C License.
