Kindra Dewanz '14 enters her second season in her second stint on the coaching staff.

"Coach Dewanz has a great history of coaching within both Bethany and the Mankato area," said Head Coach Emma Morris. "As an all-conference player for BLC from 2010-13 (which earned her recognition on our BLC Women's soccer all-decade team for the 2010's era), she has a great deal of knowledge and experience of both Bethany Women's Soccer and the UMAC conference. Coach Dewanz will be on the recruiting trail this fall, while specifically focusing on coaching our center midfielders. We are glad to have her back for another year!"

Kindra (maiden name Fairburn) was a four-year student-athlete for the Vikings. She was named Second-team All-Conference in 2012, and ranks in the top 10 in two career categories. After graduation, she was an assistant coach for Bethany for the 2014 season.

Dewanz has previously coached with STMA United, Orono Westonka SC, and Mankato United holding numerous positions within each club including Assistant Director of Coaching and Youth Development Director. She also coached at the high school level at Monticello.

She works with elementary students in before and after school programs along with summer programs.

Dewanz currently lives in New Ulm, Minn. with her husband Nick.

I can’t wait to get out on the field with a great group of talented student-athletes and coaches."
