A graduate of Wakeland High School in Frisco, Texas, Smith scored 10 goals for Midwestern State in his sophomore campaign after starting his collegiate career at the University of Tulsa.
Smith tallied eight goals in each of his final two seasons at Midwestern State and was tabbed a first-team Daktronics All-South Central Region performer as a senior. Smith earned second-team honors as a sophomore.
Following graduation, Smith contributed to the enhancement of the Wichita Falls youth soccer programs by coaching with Falls Town FC. He helped lead his club teams to the prestigious Dallas Cup youth tournament where he led his U-17 & U-18 boys to the knockout stages of the international event.
