Mackenzie Stease '23 enters her first season as a volunteer assistant coach with JCU Women's Soccer in 2023-24.

Stease played soccer and softball during a prolific career at John Carroll before graduating in 2023, majoring in sociology and criminology.

On the pitch, Stease played goalkeeper for the Blue Streaks, starting 9 games as a senior in 2022. An Academic All-OAC selection as a senior, Stease spent 874 minutes in net, tallying 57 saves and a 1.96 goals against average. She finished her career with 102 saves and a 9-5-3 record.

On the diamond, Stease started 22 games, tallying a .299 batting average. She notched 7 doubles, 3 homers, 11 RBIs. Stease twice earned Academic All-OAC honors.
