Michelle Cooper has been a member of the athletic training staff since 2015.

She works primarily with the women's soccer and coed, women's and offshore sailing teams.

Cooper previously was a two-year graduate assistant athletic trainer at The College working with the women's soccer and dance teams. She was promoted to her current position in the Summer of 2017 after graduating from The Citadel with a master's degree in health, exercise and sports science.

Prior to CofC, Cooper completed a one-year internship as a certified athletic trainer at Coastal Carolina University working with the program's women's soccer team.

Growing up in San Diego, California, Cooper moved out to the East Coast to attend college at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. She earned her bachelor's degree in athletic training in 2014.

Cooper is a certified ATC and a member of both the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and the South Carolina Athletic Trainers' Association (SCATA).
