Rachel Blevins is in her third season as Assistant Director of Sports Performance at the College of Charleston.

At the College of Charleston, Blevins oversees the sports performance programs for women’s basketball, indoor volleyball, women’s soccer, and softball.

She previously served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Western Carolina University, where she was responsible for the sports performance programs for women’s basketball, women’s soccer, and softball. While at Western Carolina University, she also assisted with football and men’s basketball.

Prior to her time at Western Carolina University, Blevins has served as a graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Saint Francis University (Pa.). She has held internships with the University of Kentucky Olympic sports performance staff as well as MidAmerica Nazarene University strength and conditioning staff.

The Olathe, Kansas native earned her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training at Southern Nazarene University in 2016 and a master’s degree in Health Science of Saint Francis University (Pa.) in 2020. She played on the women’s basketball team at Southern Nazarene University from 2012-2016 and was a part of their NCCAA National Championship roster in 2012.
