Peyton Bauman is in her second year as director of women’s soccer operations at Saint Louis University.

Bauman manages the day-to-day operations of the Billiken women’s soccer program including travel, equipment, meals, video, compliance, social media, communication with visiting teams, and overseeing the women’s soccer portion of the new Billiken Soccer Legacy Center.

Bauman arrived at SLU following one year as a graduate assistant at Murray State University, where she coached the Racers’ goalkeepers. During her senior year at the University of Missouri (2020-21), she was a nutrition intern for the Tigers’ football team.

Bauman earned the No. 1 goalkeeper position in her redshirt-sophomore season at Missouri, starting the first 11 games of the 2019 campaign. She shut out Southern Miss in her collegiate debut and made 12 saves in a draw vs. Ole Miss. Unfortunately, Bauman was forced into medical retirement from soccer during the season.

At Edward S. Marcus High School in Flower Mound, Texas, Bauman collected second-team All-State honors as a junior by posting a 0.32 goals against average and 12 shutouts for Marcus’ 24-0-4 team. In club soccer with Solar Chelsea ECNL, she was a member of teams that captured two state championships and three conference titles. Bauman made the 2016 National Elite Prep Showcase All-Tournament team and earned a place on TopDrawerSoccer’s Best XI from the 2015 ECNL National Playoffs.

Bauman, who is pursuing an MBA at Saint Louis, graduated cum laude from Missouri in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in health science. She made the School of Health Professions Dean’s List and the SEC Academic Honor Roll every year, participated in the Tiger Leadership Institute and was a community service representative for the women’s soccer team.

Bauman, who was born in St. Louis, comes from a family of several Saint Louis University graduates.
