Renae Ransdell is in her 18th year as an assistant to head coach Laurie Darling Gutheil. She provides individual instruction to the team’s midfielders and assists with player development and tactics. She was inducted into The College of Saint Rose Athletics Hall of Fame in 2012 following a distinguished playing career.

Ransdell wound up her four-year career in 2004 as one of the most decorated players in school annals. She was a three-time, first-team All-Conference and All-Region performer who helped lead the Golden Knights to the NCAA Tournament during her sophomore, junior and senior campaigns. In 2002, she became the first player in school history to register 10 goals and 10 assists in a single-season.

Ransdell stands tied for fifth all-time with 103 points while her 38 career goals and 27 assists put her seventh and tied for fifth respectively among the all-time leaders in those categories. She owns a bachelor’s degree in communications from Saint Rose.
