Sam Greene is in his second year as a volunteer assistant for the women’s soccer team.

Greene works primarily with the goalkeepers and has been a fundamental piece in the development of the goalkeeping department, as well as their target setting and growth as individuals. 

He previously served as an assistant coach at Howard Payne University, under TASCO Hall of Honor coach Sam McCutchen. In 2011, Greene helped coach the Lady Jackets to a 11-6-1 record and the semifinals of the American Southwest Conference Tournament.

Greene played high school, club, and college soccer in Oregon, playing under Manfred Tschan at George Fox University, where he graduated with a BA in History and Political Science. He also holds a master’s degree from Cambridge University and a doctorate from the Catholic University of America.

Greene has a NSCAA level 6 diploma and also has 10 years experience officiating soccer.
