Sarah Testo '00 was elevated to head coach of the Keene State College women's soccer team in July 2021.

Testo, who has been on the Owls' coaching staff for 18 years, assumes the role following the retirement of Denise Lyons '90, who stepped down as head coach at the end of the 2020-2021 academic year.  

Testo had a four year career as a player, scoring nine goals with 15 assists in 74 career assists from 1996-99. During that time the Owls reached the NCAA tournament in 1998, as well as appearing in the ECAC Championships three times (1996, 1997, 1999).  

She joined the coaching ranks in 2003 and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2019. During her tenure on the sidelines, the Owls have won three LEC Championships (2004, 2013, 2014) and made three trips to the NCAA Division III Championship.  

After earning her degree in health science (‘00) from Keene State, the New­buryport, Mass. native went on to receive her degree in applied exercise sci­ence/strength and conditioning from Springfield College in 2002.  She is married to former Owl pitcher and assistant baseball coach, and current KSC athletic director Marty Testo. They have two children, Madison and Avery.
