Zito Corte-Real has always had a driving passion and commitment to those he works with. He is a strength and conditioning and physical development specialist with WestConn women's soccer.  Corte-Real has played soccer his entire life.  He played in Danbury during his youth but eventually played for Beachside Soccer Club in Westport, Connecticut.  He went on to play with Sporting Lisbon in Portugal at age 17 but his career was cut short due to two major knee surgeries.

Corte-Real graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science and a concentration in human performance.  He has spent his early career learning from some of the top minds in the training industry, working with with athletes and clients of all ages.  He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS), as well as an FRCms. (Functional Range Conditioning, mobility specialist).

Corte-Real is the director of performance at GOAL physiotherapy and sports performance located in Westport.  He has developed a deep interest in mobility training and athletic performance training. At GOAL, Corte-Real works with both active adults, high school, collegiate and professional athletes to meet their performance goals.
