Carlos Baltodano returns to the Cougars staff for his 22th season on the sidelines in 2023.      

A four year player for then Kean College between 1979 and 1982, Baltodano has remained active in the soccer scene assisting at New Jersey Institute of Technology as well as Perth Amboy High School.  For over the past 20 years, he has also coached the Panthers Soccer Club of the Garden State Youth Soccer League. 

Carlos previous coaching experience includes Assistant Coach Perth Amboy HS (1992-01), Head Coach at Perth Amboy Panthers SC (2001-14), NY/NJ MetroStars Reserve Assistant (2001-02), Raritan Valley CC Assistant (2001-02), Assistant FC Copa (2007-08) and Head Coach of SFL since 2015. 

His previous playing experience includes Arizona Serbs (1983-85), FV Ramstein Germany (1975-1988), Union Lancers (1989-1992), Union County SC (1993-94), FC Costa Rica (1995-96).

A retired sergeant of the United States Air Force, Baltodano has been an educator in the field of high school history for over 20 years and is currently teaching at Perth Amboy High School.

Baltodano earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history education at Kean in 1991.
