Eric Branagan-Franco joined the Sonoma State men's soccer coaching staff in 2022 as the team's goalkeeper coach. Franco played Division I collegiate soccer at Cal Poly University from 2005-2009 where he started as a walk-on and ended up leading the team to its first Division I NCAA playoff victory in school history.

Franco would finish setting 8 records during his time at Cal Poly and winning Co-Big West Goalkeeper of Year during his senior season. He would graduate from Cal Poly with his bachelors in Kinesiology in 2008 and then go on to get his masters at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland in 2014. Since finishing college, Franco received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy and has been working with both

club and NorCal Player Development Program goalkeepers.

Franco has now been working with the Seawolves men’s soccer coaching staff as the goalkeeper coach for the past two years and continues to focus on providing insight and tactical skill development to the goalkeepers.
