Hunter Sowersby joined the Marywood University men's soccer staff as an assistant coach in 2019. Sowersby served as Interim Head Coach during the 2021 campaign. He previously served as an assistant men's and women's soccer coach at his alma mater Wells College. 

Sowersby played four seasons with the Express from 2013-16. During that time, he scored 16 goals, six assists and 38 points. He was selected to the All-NEAC Third Team as a sophomore. 

He was an assistant coach at Wells for both soccer programs in 2017. During that time, Sowersby also served as an admissions counselor. 

More recently, he was an assistant boys soccer coach at Sidney Central School District in New York. He was also the owner and primary trainer for Clearly Heart Academy in Sidney. 

Sowersby holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sport Management from Wells College.
