Osório was named head coach of San Francisco State in May 2019. He was also an assistant coach during the 2018 season. He holds an NSCAA National & Advanced National Diploma, USSF E License, ACF Fiorintina Advanced Certification, and is currently pursuing his D License, is currently enrolled in the United States Sports Academy. He was part of the NSCAA's 2014 Top 30 Under 30 class.

Prior to coaching the Golden Gators, he had various stints at the Division I level, having coached at Long Beach State, and Saint Mary's. In three seasons at Long Beach State, he helped lead the program to the 2016 Big West Conference Championship and to the 2015 Big West Conference Tournament Championship. The Beach was ranked in the Top 25 for three consecutive seasons and appeared in back-to-back NCAA Tournaments. The Beach defense was ranked in the Top 25 in goals against average (.652) and shutout percentage (.545). He was a volunteer assistant for the Saint Mary's women's team in 2013. In 2014, Osório was an assistant coach for Beach FC of the Women's Professional Soccer League, which won the national championship.

At the club level, Osório has over a dozen years of experience as a coach and four years as a technical coordinator.

A local product of Miramonte High School, Osório played at Saint Mary's before pursuing a professional career. He went on to play for Navua FC of Fiji FACT (2010), Bay Area Ambassadors of the NPSL (2008-10), NorCal Lamorinda United of the NPSL (2007), and the San Jose Frogs of the NPSL and PDL (2005-06).
