Dan Keene joins the PLU women's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2022 season.

A Lute alum, Keene joins the staff with over 25 years of coaching experience as the club and collegiate levels. Keene was the associate head coach at crosstown rival University of Puget Sound from 2000-2015 and again from 2017-2019 while serving as head coach during the 2005 season. His run with the Loggers included winning 14 consecutive NWC titles and 15 NCAA Tournament appearances. Keene was the NWC Coach of the Year in 2005, guiding the Loggers to the Elite Eight.

Keene was the head men's soccer coach at Green River College from 1992 to 1999, earning NWAACC Coach of the Year honors in 1993, 1997, and 1999. His stint saw the Gators win district titles in 1997 and 1999.

Keene was a member of the Lute men's soccer team from 1986 to 1989, helping PLU win Northwest Conference titles in 1986 and 1987. He finished his career with 47 wins on the pitch, including a 25-3 record in league play.
