Dr. Clint Norseth is a sport psychologist with extensive experience providing mental health counseling and sport psychology services to college student-athletes. He has a passion and goal to help student-athletes achieve their best life, academic, and performance goals.

An Ogden, Utah native, Dr. Norseth attended Weber State University for his undergraduate psychology degree and Loma Linda University for his PhD studies and research in Clinical Psychology. He developed his passion for working with college student-athletes through connecting his own experiences as a high school athlete with those of student-athletes at several universities and colleges in Southern California including Redlands University, Cal State San Bernardino, and Chaffey College. He returned to Utah for an internship at BYU’s counseling center with a training rotation in athletics. Dr. Norseth also earned his Certified Mental Performance Consultant credential through the Applied Association of Sport Psychology.

Professionally, Dr. Norseth has been a staff psychologist and liaison to athletics with Utah State University, sport psychologist with BYU Athletics, and most recently the Assistant Director/Coordinator of Mental Performance at University of Utah Athletics.

Dr. Norseth enjoys watching any and all sports, spending time with his wife, daughter, and son, playing board games and puzzles, and running obstacle course races.
