Former Pioneer Erica Hickey became a William Paterson women's soccer Assistant Coach for the 2022 season.

Hickey (2018-21) played in 57 career matches, posting a .149 goals-against average, .748 save percentage, 255 saves and 10 shutouts. On the WP career charts, she rates second in saves and tied for fifth in shutouts.

A member of the 2021 ECAC All-Tournament Team, she was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the national student-athlete honor society, was a Dean's List student and a member of the 2019-20, 2020-21 and 2021-22 Academic All-NJAC Honorable Mentions. She graduated in Spring 2021 with a bachelor's degree in political science, and completed a master's in public policy at WP in 2022.
