A talented and dynamic coach and recruiter, Kathleen Sinram has been a part of William Paterson’s rich and storied athletics history for more than two decades as she serves her 26th season as a member of the women’s soccer coaching staff. 

Sinram played for the Pioneers’ first NCAA Tournament team, reaching the Sweet Sixteen and winning a school-record 17 matches in 1997. In addition to her soccer (1994-97) successes, Sinram’s hustle and defensive abilities helped the William Paterson women’s basketball program go 91-22 (64-8 NJAC) from 1994-98 as the Pioneers reached the NCAA Tournament’s Elite Eight twice (1995, 1998) and the Sweet 16 once (1997). For her accomplishments on the pitch and the court, she was inducted into the William Paterson University Alumni Association Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.

A former professional player with the New Jersey Lady Stallions, she is a teacher and the head varsity girls basketball and JV boys volleyball coach at Wayne Valley High School. Sinram graduated from William Paterson in 1999 with bachelor’s degrees in biology and secondary education.
