Helget was hired as the school's Intramural Sports and Group Fitness Coordinator in July of 2022. 

The Mankato, Minnesota native earned her master's degree in Exercise Physiology from St. Scholastica in May after receiving a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Health from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in May of 2021.

Helget was an intern for the St. Scholastica women's soccer program for the 2021 season and spent over two years as a Franchise Ambassador for Twin Cities-based Basecamp Fitness.
