Jonathan Murray joined the Yale women’s soccer staff as an assistant coach in February 2023.

Murray joins the Bulldogs after serving as an assistant coach at the University of New Haven for three seasons. His college coaching experience also includes a stint at Western New England University. At the club level, Murray worked for the Vale Soccer Club in Middletown, Conn. where he served as the head coach of the Girls 2007s.

In addition to coaching, Murray is a certified occupational therapist through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).

Murray earned an undergraduate degree in occupational science and a graduate degree in occupational therapy from American International College in Springfield, Mass., where he was a member of the men’s soccer program. While at AIC, Murray was awarded the John “Homer” Miller Award, given to students who show excellent leadership qualities and aspiring leaders on the AIC campus.
