A member of the program since the fall of 2020, Lexi Almeida transitions to the coaching staff as a student assistant in the fall of 2023 as she completes her requirements for her degree in Physical Education.

A native of Southington, Almeida played four seasons in goal at Southington High School but had her collegiate career curtailed by a number of injuries.

This year, Almeida will assist the staff in all areas of administration, practice and game-day preparation.

In addition to her duties at Eastern, Almeida will assist with the Manchester High School women's soccer program.
