Mackenzie Tibball  joined the staff of head coach Sarah Tompkins upon the latter's appointment in 2022.

As a defensive player, the West Hartford native played four seasons in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) at Division I Quinnipiac University between 2016-2019, playing in 68 matches with 55 starts. As a senior, she started all 19 matches, averaging 81 minutes per contest.

As a freshman, Tibball started the final 11 matches of the year (team posting an 8-3 record in those games) – helping the Bobcats to five shutouts. That year, she earned a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie Team after helping the Bobcats reach the conference finals.

At Northwest Catholic, Tibball helped the team to two state titles as a three-time all-conference and senior All-State player and was among seven members of that senior class who committed to playing soccer at the college level. At Northwest, Tibball was a four-year All-Academic qualifier and two-year member of the National Honor Society.

With the Oakwood Soccer Club, Tibball helped the team to the NPL national semifinals and to an NPL league title.

A qualifier for the MAAC All Academic Team in all three seasons of eligibility, Tibball earned a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) from Quinnipiac in 2020 and is a Registered Nurse at Hartford Hospital.
