A long-time youth coach, Stewart Wright returns to the Saint Michael's women's soccer staff for his fourth season as an assistant coach in 2023, starting his second stint after coaching the Purple Knights between 2017 and 2019.

Wright was the junior varsity girls' soccer head coach at South Burlington High School in 2016 and has guided the 99/00 boys' team through the Queen City Football Club since last fall. Wright previously worked in Utah, where he was the JV girls' head coach at Payson High School from 2010 until 2015, and varsity and JV boys' head coach at Spanish Fork High School between 2007 and spring 2014.

Wright was the Shooters Soccer Club's U18 head coach in 2012, an assistant with the Nebo United Soccer Club U16s in 2009, and a City League Soccer coach of 10-year-olds in 2008. Wright holds his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "D" License and his National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Diploma: Technical Development of the Competitive Player.

A graduate of Brigham Young University with a degree in mathematics education, Wright is pursuing a master's degree in soccer coaching from Ohio University.
