Hauser enters her fifth season with the Hofstra women's soccer program in the fall of 2023. She came to Hofstra by way of Clarkson University, where she served as the head coach of the Golden Knights between 2015 and 2018.
In Hauser's first season at Hofstra, the Pride captured its third-straight Colonial Athletic Association title before advancing to the NCAA Second Round. In addition, the Pride posted a 7-0-2 regular season conference record. Hauser played a major role in mentoring the goalkeepers, who recorded five shutouts during the 2019 season while holding conference opponents opponents to a 0.95 goals against average during the regular season. In all, Hofstra out-scored conference opponents that year, 34-11. Following the regular season, freshman goalkeeper Skylar Kuzmich was named to the CAA All-Rookie Team.
During the shortened 2020 season played in the spring of 2021, Hofstra posted a 7-1-1 overall mark and claimed its second-straight regular season title. Once again, Hauser worked very closely with the goalkeepers, who recorded three shutouts and allowed just one goal per game, including a 0.77 goals against average mark during the regular season.
Hofstra won 17 games in 2021 and claimed the CAA Championship. The Pride allowed just 13 goals in 22 games and collected 13 shutouts. In 2022, the Pride posted eight shutouts and won the CAA title for a second consecutive season.
At Clarkson, Hauser posted 18 wins across her three seasons, including eight in 2017 which marked an improvement by three from a year prior. In just her second season at the helm, Hauser was named the 2017 Liberty League Coach of the Year as Clarkson advanced to the league tournament for the first time in program history. In all, Hauser mentored six Liberty League players, including Camryn Careccia who became the first Clarkson women's soccer player to earn all-region honors for the first time since 1995. In addition, Hauser had several student-athletes named to the Liberty League Academic All-Conference team a combined 33 times.
Prior to taking over at Clarkson in May 2016, Hauser served as an assistant coach at Vassar College, helping the Brewers to their second Liberty League Tournament appearance in five years. Hauser's first professional coaching experience also came at Clarkson, as she was the team's top assistant for two years, helping guide the team to 11 wins along with its best conference finish in two decades in 2014.
A native of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Hauser graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in Management & Business and a minor in Mathematics in 2013 prior to earning her MBA from Clarkson in May 2015. She played for four seasons with the Thoroughbreds, garnering all-conference status on three occasions while leading her team to a pair of NCAA Tournament appearances (2009 and 2011). A midfielder and forward, Hauser scored 15 goals and added eight assists for 38 points in 73 games, including 69 starts. She was a Liberty League First-Team All-Star as a sophomore and junior, earning NSCSAA Division III All-East honors in 2011, and was chosen as a Liberty League Second-Team All-Star in 2012.
After graduation, Hauser competed semi-professionally for the Albany Alleycats SC and Seacoast United Premier SC, both part of the Women's Soccer Premier League.
Outside of her collegiate experience, Hauser served as the head coach for the U16 FC Freeze in Canton and an assistant coach for the U18 Black Watch Premier Soccer in Albany. She also participated with the Soccer Without Borders program in Uganda in the summer of 2012, where she coordinated and coached soccer and English class sessions for nearly 100 refugee children.
Hauser was a member of the United Soccer Coaches 30-under-30 program's Class of 2020-21.
